Shipping Information

From confirmed order to bill of lading.

Incoterms

We quote FOB as standard — FOB Amman for the Jordanian catalogue and FOB Alexandria for the Egyptian one. Under FOB, our responsibility and cost end once the goods are loaded aboard the vessel at the named port. CIF quotes are available on request if you would rather we arrange the sea freight and insurance.

Lead time starts when payment terms are met, not when the order is placed. Ramadan, Eid and the local harvest calendar can extend these; your account manager will confirm dates in writing.

Documentation

Every shipment travels with a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin and health certificate. HALAL certification is issued for the lines that carry it, and phytosanitary certificates where the destination requires them. Tell us at quotation stage what your customs authority asks for — retro-fitting a document after loading is slow and sometimes impossible.

Loading and inspection

Containers are loaded at the factory or at our consolidation warehouse, photographed before sealing, and the seal number is recorded on the bill of lading. You are welcome to appoint a third-party inspection agency (SGS, Bureau Veritas or similar) at your cost; give us notice so loading can be scheduled around the inspection.

Damage and shortages

Check the container seal against the bill of lading before opening. Report any discrepancy within seven days of arrival, with photographs and the packing list, and we will investigate with the carrier and the loading team.

Still need an answer?

Tell us the destination port and what you want to load, and we will come back with a firm FOB quote.
